Wow, incredible food and service at Shier's Pasties and More. The beef pasty with gravy was out of this world. Love the crust design as well as the rich full flavor of the pasty. Very filling food. Great vegetarian options too.
Have always driven to the UP to get good pasties but not anymore? Had a competitor tell me about Shiers and drove from Saginaw this morning to get some? Was not disappointed to say the least. Service was fast and was impressed. Will be back for more for sure.
I personally think this family deserves a larger space with more seating for some of the best food in Midland! Along with kind owners and a smoker rolling with delish foods all the time, you can't get a better beef pasty in Michigan! The best!!
Hopped in for some frozen pasties and a brisket dip. Very clean and friendly. Great prices. The food was absolutely amazing. I will definitely come back for more briskets dips and to try all of their other items (haven’t tried the pasties yet)!
Yesterday was a very difficult day. I was sent to the ER by my doctor. My family was out of town and I had to do this alone -in fear. I stopped by SHIER'S PASTIES & MORE to grab a couple meals my family could warm up while waiting for me to be admitted. Well, due to confusion and stress -I left my wallet at home. I tried all the apps to pay, but nothing was working in my favor. I think my brain wasn’t working to be honest. And here are the owners to say: please take these meals, you have enough stress today. At first, my pride was embarrassed. But then I remembered myself -not long ago, a a business owner -giving things. Helping people. And in my work now, as a Death Doula -I give. So I accepted the meals. And today when I finally was able to receive help with the app online. I thought of the owners sweet face. She was the kindest, most beautiful spirit. As I had a bite of that meal, I could tell it was made with pure love. May the great creator bless this business. For they are doing everything right in the world. These are rare people creating delicious food! You must must try this place. As soon as I’m well, I’ll be back! Thank you so much for caring for me when I needed it.
Food is delicious. You can tell this is made with love and care. I had the corned beef sandwich and my wife had the brisket and we were so impressed. Took some frozen pasties for later.
First time trying here and 10/10 recommend. Food was delicious and the green chile is the best I've ever had. Got it to go and was in and out in 10 minutes. Great place.
If you like brisket and a good french dip you will not be disappointed. I have a hard time leaving here and not buying at least 2 sandwiches. Reuben is phenomenal too. Shier's for the win!
